John MBA '90 & Karen Stolz Beneficiary Designation
John MBA '90 and Karen Stolz have remembered the School of Business and Entrepreneurship in their estate plans, and help student-veterans and first generation students complete their degrees and prepare for workplace success.
As former corporate executives, both John and Karen bring vast experience in human resources, operations and career management to North Central students. John is well qualified to offer coaching and résumé reviews, and personal job counseling; Karen provides resources on resume development and career management for both first generation and veteran students.
John relates to our military veterans as he served six years in the U.S. Navy. "Student-veterans need to understand that what they did in the military will enhance any business they work for," he says. "Companies can continue to look at North Central students who are hard-working, grounded and well-educated."
How can you help our students? Name the College as a beneficiary to your estate. By naming the College as a beneficiary to a will, trust, retirement, life insurance policy or other account (e.g., brokerage, savings or checking), you may enjoy many benefits including the ability to control the gift throughout your lifetime and a possible reduction in the value of your total estate. Additionally, you can set forth how your gift should be used (a specific purpose, an unrestricted gift or a blend of the two) and you can designate a specific amount, a percentage of the overall estate, or another set of conditions to make sure your gift has the impact that you prefer.
